Jennifer Shumsky, RN, BCPA, NMAP, PACS, CHCO is a registered nurse with over 30 years of healthcare experience spanning clinical care, health insurance, and patient advocacy. She specializes in access and reimbursement strategy, launch planning, and HIPAA-compliant process design, helping bridge the gap between payers, providers, and patients.
Drawing on extensive experience within the health insurance sector, Jennifer brings a deep understanding of payer operations, medical policy, and the complexities of coverage determination to her work. She collaborates with life science and healthcare organizations to build programs that anticipate and address access barriers, ensuring patients can access medically necessary treatments and services.
Certified as a Board-Certified Patient Advocate (BCPA), Nurse Medical Affairs Professional (NMAP), Prior Authorization Certified Specialist (PACS), and Certified HIPAA Compliance Officer (CHCO), Jennifer is dedicated to making access and reimbursement pathways more equitable, compliant, and patient-centered.
